Blitzer for Windows

Send selected files and folders between Windows 11 computers on a private network. Blitzer pairs devices with matching codes, encrypts transfers over QUIC and TLS 1.3, and verifies received chunks before saving a new destination folder.

Requirements and known limits

Windows 11 x64 with native QUIC support. Windows-to-Windows transfers and restart recovery have been tested. Physical Apple-device interoperability and real-network discovery still need acceptance checks. No internet relay, AirDrop, symbolic links or extended-attribute transfer. Installer unsigned.

Open Blitzer on both Windows PCs, compare the six-digit pairing codes and approve the peer. Choose a small folder and a new destination first. Review the transfer receipt and open the received files before trying a larger library. Both devices must be reachable on the same private network; this release has no internet relay.

Connection

Local QUIC with mutual TLS, paired certificate identities and DNS-SD discovery. A private-IP address can be entered manually.

Files

Bounded parallel chunks, SHA-256 verification and resume of an incomplete transfer to the same peer.

Destination

Received files are staged and checked before promotion to a unique new folder. Existing destination files are not replaced.

Compatibility

Windows 11 x64. Physical Mac-to-Windows interoperability has not been verified.
